***Since the FHA Streamline Refinance incentive took effect in June 2011, Churchill Mortgage has realized a 540 percent increase in FHA refinance business. ****Under the FHA streamline refinance program with no cash out, most borrowers can refinance to lower mortgage rates without the need of an appraisal. Borrowers must have a current FHA loan and a good mortgage payment history to qualify. In March 2012, FHA expanded the reduced mortgage insurance premium program to include loans endorsed or insured prior to June 1, 2009. In response, Churchill began contacting customers to inform them of their refinance options, helping many save thousands of dollars.
