That’s why a leading law firm and a leading e-collaboration vendor have brought on new staff, including a mortgage technology veteran with a tenure at GHR. Remember them? Here’s the scoop:

****First, VirPack, a provider of document management and eDelivery solutions for the mortgage industry, announced Cy Brinn will join the VirPack leadership team as Chief Operating Officer effective May 6, 2013. Brinn is an innovator and industry leader with more than 25 years of lending automation experience who will propel growth and drive value for the VirPack client base.

****“VirPack has been growing consistently for the past 15 years. Cy comes to us with an excellent reputation and track record of helping companies at VirPack’s stage of growth substantially expand capacity, enrich products, and deliver more value and services to clients. We look forward to having him on the team and further accelerating our expansion,” said VirPack president and CEO Michael J. Coar Jr.

****The increased importance of regulatory compliance and the need for highly efficient lending operations has substantially increased demand for the VirPack Enterprise Center document management and eDelivery solution. Brinn will use his extensive experience to expand VirPack’s operations to support its growing client base.  He will also focus on expanding VirPack’s sales, product, support and services teams in order to deliver more product capabilities, services, and overall value to VirPack’s clients.

****“I am excited about joining VirPack. The VirPack Enterprise Center document management and eDelivery solution is in high demand as regulatory and competitive pressures have increased the importance of both compliance and operating efficiency,” Brinn said.

****Brinn has worked with lending automation since 1986, earning a reputation as a straight-forward, roll-up-your-sleeves business leader. He led exponential growth at GHR systems, a loan origination and decision engine provider, whose employment base increased 10-fold and revenue spiked from $2 million to $38 million. Brinn recently spearheaded a three-fold increase in growth at PCLender, a Lender Processing Systems business unit, in less than three years.

****Second, Texas law firm, Farris Law Group, PLLC, has brought on three new team members to focus on the growth and expansion that the company is experiencing, especially in the mortgage document preparation department. Farris Law group bringing on three veterans allows for the continued focus on customer service and technology to expand.

****“I wanted to bring on a varsity team that is excited about the growth and knows the industry inside and out,” said Matt Farris principal of Farris Law Group. “These three new hires are going to create a lot of new business for Farris Law Group and we are all excited to see what happens next.”

****Farris Law Group brought on Kortney Harward as the Senior Vice President of Business Development; Patrick Fitzgerald as Manager of the Loan Fulfillment Department and Ali Linthorst as Vice President of Marketing.
