The last Encompass Experience I attended was in 2013, and it was a great conference. Obviously, I was pretty excited to go to Orlando for the 2015 Encompass Experience. Here’s what happened and here’s why you should care:
I have two tiny mini-me girls who loved Disney when we did the family road trip last summer, and they were definitely ready to go back. The host hotel was the Disney Swan and Dolphin. That’s the kind of lifestyle to which we could get accustomed. Then I heard Ellie Mae had Jim Gaffigan headlining one of the parties, and he’s one of my favorite comedians. Seriously, watch this.
Needless to say, I had the whole trip planned out. But the best laid plans, as they say… I didn’t get to go!
So how am I going to review the Ellie Mae Encompass Experience when I wasn’t even there? The only evidence I have is the best evidence there is, actually – Results.
We sent six people to the Experience and every night, very late, after all the meetings and dinners and events were over, our team updated our SalesForce database with the conversations they had and the connections they made. On the first day of the conference, we broke our all-time record for number of valuable contacts made in a single day.
More than 1,400 people using Encompass were there, eager to collaborate with us on ways to streamline operations and ensure their compliance. Mercury Network has a direct integration with Encompass, so appraisal compliance and efficiency is really easy for lenders using Encompass to achieve. Our team had an incredibly productive few days.
From a vendor’s point of view, the audience was definitely engaged and interested in how to tie all their technology together to reduce mistakes, expenses, and turn times. We had excellent meetings, back to back, every day.
I heard The Encompass Experience 2016 will be back at the Wynn in Vegas. This time, I’m certain my presence will be required. I’ve told my little girls that children aren’t allowed in Vegas, and I’ve already booked the Presidential Panoramic Corner View Suite. See you in Vegas.
