Embrace Home Loans announces that Jodi Viniello has joined the company as chief innovation and transformation officer. An operations and IT executive and certified project management professional with more than 20 years of experience, Viniello is responsible for transforming Embrace Home Loans into a more agile and digital organization through the development of new processes and technologies.
“Companies that leverage agile methods are able to react successfully to the emergence of new competitors, game-changing technologies and sudden shifts in market conditions like the mortgage industry is experiencing today,” said Dennis Hardiman, president and CEO of Embrace Home Loans. “With Jodi’s expertise in agile frameworks, we are confident she will bring our innovative ideas to reality more quickly in order to meet those challenges.”
Before joining Embrace Home Loans, Viniello was head of transformation and portfolio delivery at Citizens Bank, where she led their enterprise agile transformation. She grew the agile practice and mindset by introducing scrum, Kanban, design thinking and spearheading the creation of an Innovation Council. Viniello held previous leadership positions across multiple verticals including healthcare, financial services and manufacturing, demonstrating her ability to successfully balance strategy and execution change management.
In her new role, Viniello will be responsible for defining Embrace Home Loans’ agile transformation roadmap and its digital strategy, identifying and prioritizing short and long-term digitalization initiatives and implementing new ways of working. The company will rely on Viniello’s expertise in agile principles, which involves collaboration in cross-functional teams and a deep understanding of customers’ needs, along with an iterative test-and-learn approach to delivery. Agile design methods have gained popularity in recent years as a faster and more flexible delivery strategy.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Embrace Home Loans and spearheading the company’s digital transformation,” Viniello said. “The massive changes facing mortgage lenders represent a huge opportunity for a forward-thinking company like Embrace, which is already known for its commitment to digital processes and for raising customer service standards. I’m looking forward to helping Embrace Home Loans complete its transformation into digital lending and surpass customer expectations.”
